Rudolf Hess 3-G shirt
One of Adolf Hitler's earliest and staunchest supporters, Hess joined the National Socialist German Worker's Party (NSDAP) on 1 July 1920 and was at Hitler's side on 8 November 1923 for the Beer Hall Putsch, a daring attempt to seize control of the government of Bavaria in an effort to save Germany from the ravages of Marxist degradation.

While serving time in jail for this attempted coup, he assisted Hitler with Mein Kampf, which became a foundation of the political platform of the NSDAP.

On 10 May 1941, Hess made a solo flight to Scotland in a bid to secure peace between Germany and Great Britain. Instead, he was arrested and spent 46 years in solitary confinement, to the shame of the Allied nations involved in this crime against humanity.
